When registering, students may pay either a 25% down payment of the total tuition, lodging and meal plan or the full amount. Any unpaid balance will be due 60 days prior to the start of the class.
Cancellations - If you need to cancel your registration you have the following options:
Transfer Policy - Registrants who cancel their enrollment in a class may make a one-time transfer to another workshop without penalty. Transfers may be made either in the current workshop season, or any class in the following year. A class registration is transferable to another person, with the same time limit restrictions.
Refund Policy - If you prefer not to transfer your workshop registration, the following fees apply:
- More than 60 days prior to the workshop $150.00 cancellation fee
- Less than 60 days prior to the workshop no refunds for any amount; however, see transfer policy
Cancellation fees reflect the cost of registration, staff, instructor contracts, material acquisitions, and other services. This policy applies to all registrants, regardless of the reason for cancelling. We encourage the use of trip insurance.
MISA Cancels a Workshop
MISA reserves the right to cancel a workshop 30 days prior to the start of the class, if the minimum number of students has not been met for a class. MISA will notify the registrants if there is a need to cancel. Students will have the option to transfer to another workshop or receive a full refund. MISA cannot be responsible for non-refundable airline tickets.
We expect participants will attend the entire class as scheduled. Late arrivals and early departures are disruptive for both the instructor and the other students. Please make every effort to participate fully in your class. Tuition adjustments will not be made for late arrivals or early departures. Call us before enrolling if you have questions about these policies.
Tuition for Area Residents
Full-time residents of Bayfield and Ashland Counties are eligible for a 40% discount for any regular course on a space-available, stand-by basis. In the event that the class reaches maximum capacity, local residents may choose to pay full tuition for a confirmed space, or cancel without penalty. Local residents must present a valid driver's license.
Accessibility - Studios and lodging are handicapped accessible. If you have mobility restrictions, please contact us to discuss access to studios and other facilities.
MISA is an equal opportunity organization and is open to all.
Smoking is not allowed inside any building at MISA.
MISA is not responsible for the security of property belonging to students and instructors.
Pets are not permitted on campus; however we will make exceptions for service dogs. Please contact the registrar regarding this policy.
