Tom Jones, resident of Central Florida and popular watercolor workshop artist, has honed his artistic skills since grade school. Although largely self-taught, he was greatly influenced by famous artists such as Thomas Moran and Charles M. Russell. Their influence helped him create the distinctive style and rich detail he is known for today.
Tom’s art can be found internationally in many private and corporate collections, including commissioned paintings displayed in the Florida State Capitol Building, Walt Disney World, the Omni Corporation and museums. His work has also been featured in many books, magazines, posters and brochures.
Beyond being a featured artist, Tom is also an author, an art judge and he loves to share his talent and guidance with his workshop students. His 24 years of workshop travels – in North America and abroad gives him the keen insight as to what makes a truly successful, memorable and fulfilling learning experience for his students.
